| Oxybleach - Nappy San Powder | OXY-BLEACH is a free flowing oxygen bleaching powder suitable as a safe, mild bleach for all types of fabrics, including synthetics and coloureds. OXY-BLEACH may be used in conjunction with conventional laundry powders in washing machines or as a pre-soak in hot water. It can be used during the suds cycle to supplement the washing action of a powder or soap, or simply to give an additional bleaching treatment to the articles before or after they have been washed. When properly used, OXY-BLEACH is safe on all fabrics. As a pre-soak, use OXY-BLEACH at concentrations in the order of 12-18 grams per litre of hot water. Make sure that all the powder has dissolved before introducing the wash. Allow to soak some hours or overnight. At higher temperatures, use less OXY-BLEACH or shorter contact time. For lower temperatures use a higher concentration of OXY-BLEACH and longer soak time. For specific use concentrations and bleaching procedures, our Laundry Technical Department should be consulted. | Penetrating Compound - Rust Breaker | PENETRATING COMPOUND is a strong penetrant product for breaking rusted beads on wheels, unfreezing seized parts, water displacer, lubricant and a flash rust preventer. This product is Non-toxic and very reliable. BEAD BREAKING: Warning flammable product. Ensure product is used in a well-ventilated area and all sources of ignition are removed. Use the product strictly as received and do not dilute. In a sheltered cool area, lay tyre flat with bead facing upwards. Apply liberal amount of the compound evenly to the bead and allow to penetrate for 20 minutes. The volatile solvent should have evaporated after 15 minutes. The residue left behind after solvent has evaporated is non-flammable. If excess solvent remains (i.e. applied is cold weather) remove any excess with a dry rag or wash clean with water to be safe. Then demount the tyre as usual. UNFREEZING PARTS: Warning flammable product. Do not apply to hot or electrically energised equipment or parts. Ground / earth your equipment first as static electricity can ignite the compound. Dip, paint or squirt the part to be unfreeze with the compound (i.e. rusty nuts & bolts). Allow the product to work for 5 to 10 minutes and then work the parts. This product with dissolve rust and disrupt the bonds between the rusted & frozen parts. | Peroxy Acetic Acid - Proxitane | PEROXY ACETIC ACID (Peracetic acid (C2H4O3)) is a mixture of acetic acid (CH3COOH) and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in solution which finds widespread use a cost effective NO RINSE sanitising solution in breweries, dairy farms, food processing & commercial laundries. PEROXY ACETIC ACID is formulated to be used on pre-cleaned surfaces that contain no detergents or surfactants. The products performance will be dramatically reduced if soils are present on the surface such as fats, oil, starches or vegetable matter. Peroxyacetic acid sanitation is most efficient at pH's below 7. The pH of a 1: 100 dilution of this product is about 3.0 and a 1: 500 dilution about ph 4.0. Temperature plays a factor in effectiveness of this product, for example at a temperature of 15°C and a pH value of 7, five times more peractetic acid is required to effectively deactivate pathogens than at a pH value of 7 and a temperature of 35°C. Therefore working solutions should be ambient to warm (25 to 40°C). Exact dilution rates are determined on a case by case basis and Able Westchem does not normally determine what rate suits its customers requirements. To achieve 200 ppm (maximum allowable by AQIS) add 4ml to 1 litre of warm water. The following table summarizes the approximate ppm for a given dilution. | Phosclean Descaler | PHOSCLEAN is an AQIS compliant CIP acid cleaner specifically designed for the removal of scale, rust & precipitates from lines and equipment & tanks in food, beverage & dairy industries. RUST CONVERSION (Metal Priming & Preparation). Remove oil, grease & loose scale with a free rinsing water based alkaline degreaser such as PREDATOR, TRIPLE 2 or ... STAIN REMOVING & GENERAL CLEANING. Dilute up to 1:10 with warm water, however a dilution of 1:4 is recommended for most applications. Apply diluted PHOSCLEAN & allow a few minutes to work & then wipe or hose off. Do not allow to dry. Deeply encrusted stains may need further applications & some slight agitation with a brush or light sourer to promote penetration. Remember to keep the surface wet with product & do not allow to dry as process will halt. TIP: Always pre test an inconspicuous test area before tackling your job. CIP CLEANING. Pre wash using AQIS Alkaline Detergent such as AC222 or Hercules then flush. Then use PHOSCLEAN at a dilution to suit your requiremts (from neat to 1:100). | Q San - Leave on Sanitiser | Q-SAN - Spray-On-Leave-On Sanitizer Concentrate is formulated for the daily use as an end-of-shift general purpose leave-on-sanitizer for use within all food service industry groups and is also suitable for commercial and domestic use. Q-SANs active ingredient is a quaternary ammonium compound which kills a broad spectrum of germs and bacteria. The product leaves behind an invisible Quat-polymer protective film that helps to keep surfaces germ free for up to 24 hours. FOOD AREA USE. Concentrations are regulated; use Q-SAN at rate of 50 ml per litre (5% v/v) of water via mister or trigger spray. After 5 minutes of contact time between Q-SAN and the surface the surface will then be considered as being sanitised and no further surface preparation is generally required. Hard, non-porous food contact surfaces, such as equipment and utensils, may be used following sanitation without a potable water rinse provided that Q-SAN is used at 5%v/v strictly according to directions, and the surfaces are drained and dry prior to any food contact. When used in FOOD AREAS it is recommended to discard diluted solutions after each day and make fresh solution daily. NON FOOD AREAS such as commercial and domestic use. For a high level of sanitation apply Q-SAN at rate 50 ml per litre (5%v/v) with potable water via trigger spray to a pre-cleaned surface. For low risk areas use as little as 1 part to 200 parts of water for a kill of 99.9% of germs and bugs within 1 minute. Allow the wetted surface to air dry or wipe dry with clean cloth. The surface will be considered sanitised after 1 minute. For domestic & commercial use there is no requirement to discard made-up solutions but we recommend unused solutions be discarded after 3 months when stored as per Section 7 of the SDS. | Solvent Decarboniser | SOLVENT DECARBONISER - AC635 is a yellow mobile liquid consisting of two phases with a thin top aqueous phase and a bottom solvent phase for soak bath cleaning. It is ideal for use to decarbonise carburettors, automotive engine parts, gears etc where they can be readily left immersed in a solvent bath. AC635 is tipped directly into a suitable metal container without any dilution to act as a bath. The size of the bath is dependent on the number and the size of the parts to be cleaned. Parts must be totally immersed in the AC635 bath. The bath should not be agitated and be positioned in a cool well ventilated area.
