| Calcium chloride | Calcium Chloride is a white crystalline salt (flakes, granules or pellets) that is highly water soluble. When dissolved in water it becomes a good source of free calcium and chloride ions which is desirable for a wide range of applications. It can be obtained from purification of brine or derived from limestone as a by-product of the Solvay process. Uses: Calcium chloride is used as an accelerator for oil & gas well cementing systems and shotcrete Portland cement systems.
