| Desert Lime Powder - Australian Native Extract (Bulk) | Desert Lime is a highly resilient citrus crop typical of Australian native botanicals, tolerating extremes of drought, heat and cold. The fruit is both farmed and wild harvested here in Australia. Wild Harvest locations exist in Southwest Queensland, Northwest NSW, North Coast NSW. Farms are located in the Riverlands of South Australia, Inland Queensland around Roma, North Coast NSW and Southern Queensland. This sour fruit contains high levels of phenolic antioxidants, vitamin C, vitamin E and trace minerals making it perfect for anti-ageing skin care applications. Form: Fine green powder with a sharp, slightly sour aroma. Solubility: This extract is not completely water soluble but it will form a tincture in warm water and this can then be filtered and used in your cosmetic product. We suggest making a 20% active solution by mixing 20g of powder into 80g of hot water and steeping until the colour change is complete.
