COMET GREEN is an AQIS compliant chlorine-based liquid detergent/sanitiser formulated for use in food and beverage processing areas, live stock abattoirs, refrigeration containers and rooms, fruit & vegetable processing, toilets, shower recesses and laundries. FRUIT & VEGETABLE PROCESSING: For manual cleaning use COMET GREEN at between 2 and 5% with cold water. That is 2 mls / litre of water or 50:1 or 50mls / litre or 20:1. Agitate surfaces and allow up to 3 minutes contact time and rinse with potable water. If the use of a quaternary ammonium compound is required thorough rinsing of all surfaces is critical between the two applications. REFRIGERATION ROOMS & VEHICLES: Use from 1 part product to 20 parts water or as required dilution rates to remove different types of mineral and animal based soils. FOOD PREPARATION / SHIP GALLIES: For tables, cutting boards, bench-tops, tiled and stone floors, wash with COMET GREEN at 1:50 dilution. Leave for 5 - 10 minutes then rinse. BATHROOMS & SHOWERS: COMET GREEN may be used to clean mould, soap scum, etc. from shower recesses and surrounding areas. Apply at 1:20 dilutions to the surface, leave for 5 minutes then rinse clean, using a brush if necessary. Ensure adequate ventilation in confined areas. ALGAE, FUNGI AND MOULD: For removing algae and mould from concrete, mortar and roof tiles, use 1 part COMET GREEN per 20 parts of water. Apply liberally to the surface and leave for at least 30 minutes. Brush off dead algae and hose with water. LAUNDRIES: For bleaching, white clothes, immerse in a 1:500 solution of COMET GREEN (2ml per litre). Soak for 2 - 3 hours or overnight, then rinse then wash.
