NOTE: this is a higher grade hydrochloric acid than the "spent / recovered" type normally found at your local pool shop or hardware store. This product is generally used at concentration from 1:5 to 1:10 parts water depending on application. The product can be used via immersion, swab or recirculation techniques. TIPS: Before using the product ensure the surface has been pre-cleaned with appropriate cleaner to remove unwanted oil, grease and film. If the surface is porous (ie bore stain on brick wall) then the surface should be well wetted to avoid acid being wicked into the surface and creating a white haze in the days following, as minerals are leached to the surface. Once a surface has been cleaned the acid should be washed off as soon as possible with copious amounts of water. Repeated acid washing may damage some surfaces. | Phosclean Descaler | PHOSCLEAN is an AQIS compliant CIP acid cleaner specifically designed for the removal of scale, rust & precipitates from lines and equipment & tanks in food, beverage & dairy industries. RUST CONVERSION (Metal Priming & Preparation). Remove oil, grease & loose scale with a free rinsing water based alkaline degreaser such as PREDATOR, TRIPLE 2 or ... STAIN REMOVING & GENERAL CLEANING. Dilute up to 1:10 with warm water, however a dilution of 1:4 is recommended for most applications. Apply diluted PHOSCLEAN & allow a few minutes to work & then wipe or hose off. Do not allow to dry. SCALEAWAY may be used neat or diluted with up to 9 parts water. Simply apply to scaled area agitate and allow the chemicals time to work. This product works via chemical reaction which takes time.
