| Cocoamidopropyl Betaine | Application: This is an amphoteric surfactant which means it acts as both anionic (cleansing) and cationic (conditioning) depending on the pH and concentration of the product. This, plus the surfactants foam boosting properties makes it a great choice in shampoo, body wash and 2-in-2 conditioning shampoos. Activity: This surfactant is approximately 30% active in water. Dose rate: Typically used at between 5-30%. Solubility: Water.
