| MACADAMIA OIL REFINED | Macadamia nut oil is obtained from the fruit of the macadamia tree (Macadamia ternifolia). The macadamia tree belongs to the Proteaceae family. Its fruit has a fatty oil content ranging between 70 and 75%. Originally native to Australia, the macadamia nut tree is now also grown in South Africa and Hawaii. Acts as an anti-chapping, anti-stretch mark, antioxidant, soothing, softener, healing, emollient, hydrating, nourishing, penetrating and restructuring active. It is obtained from the almonds of macadamia ternifolia by pressure followed by refining. It contains 80% of mono-unsaturated fatty acids. Its content in palmitoleic and oleic acids gives this oil cells anti-oxidation properties. Penetrating very quickly, it is easily used as day oil. It also nourishes the hair.
