| GAMMA ORYZANOL | It is an active defence against ageing and damaged skin. It appears to function in the skin as a quencher of singlet oxygen, protecting human skin surfaces from lipid peroxidation due to exposure to UV light and other sources of oxidation. By stimulating the sebaceous glands, it alleviates the symptoms of dryness and thus prevents dry skin and skin irritations. It stimulates hair growth by protecting hairs from harmful effects of ultraviolet rays of the sun. In-vitro studies demonstrate that it is an organic radical scavenger and is excellent in inhibiting lipid peroxidation. It is known to provide a whitening effect on the skin. Scientific studies showed that tyrosinase activity and melanin production was inhibited by Gamma-oryzanol. It therefore improves the condition of liver spots.
