Iron Oxides
Iron Oxides are commonly used in oil well drilling, or as pigments in glass and ceramic applications. ColorFerox Black N60 and ColorferoxRed N66 are our product names and are a 60% solids suspension of Iron Oxide Black and a 66% solids suspension of Iron Oxide Red respectively. It is used primarily in the clay brick, tile and paver industry to alter or enhance the colour of the finished product. By adjusting the addition rate our Iron Oxide suspensions can produce a range of vibrant colours which are dependent upon the clay used and the firing conditions. Iron Oxide suspensions were developed to eliminate the handling of dusty powders in the working environment, to allow for greater control of addition rates and reduce waste. Pink Australian Clay (Bulk)
Pink Australian Clay has a lower iron content than the red clay hence the lighter colour. This essential minerals to help replenish and regenerate the epidermis of the skin to create softened and conditioned skin with a healthy glow. The clay can be blended with other clays for different properties and effect or used as a stand-alone additive for face and body masks. To form a paste, mix approximately a teaspoon of Pink Australian Clay with 1/3 tsp of water to form a paste. Mix until colour is unform. Due to natural variation this product in its dry powder form may appear to look extremely pale, however when incorporated into formulas or mixed with a liquid the colour develops into a deep pink colour. Whilst mixing with liquid one may notice slight streaking of colour, which is normal, and the product should be mixed until a uniform colour is achieved. Note: In late 2018 the mine extracting the Australian pink clay was closed due to exhausting the natural clay desposits. In order to maintain supply of the same specification product New Directions commenced manufacturing the pink clay from Australian mined kaolin and Iron oxide pigment. This produces a clay with the same characteristics and chemistry and the original product but via a slightly different process. Group: Clay. Alternative Names: Kaolin, Aqua, CI 77491, CI 77499. EINECS: 310-194-1, 231-791-2, 215-168-2, 235-442-5. CAS No. 1332-58-7, 7732-18-5, 1309-37-1, 12227-89-3. Pack Sizes: 100G; 500G; 1KG; 5KG; 20KG and above upon request. Product ID: CLAYAUSTPINK.

During the time it takes for rocks to break down the clay can also take up organic matter from plants and animals that share its environment. This combination produces clays that can have a myriad of properties and chemistries, clays that can go on to fulfil a huge range of functions in our skin care. Brazilian clays are said to have the highest mineral potential in the world thanks to the rich environmental conditions ... Brazil's rich soil diversity shows traces of volcanic ash and minerals dating back thousands of years and enriching the clay with minerals such as iron oxides, magnesium salts and calcium among others. These minerals are just part of what makes Brazilian clay so fantastic for a range of skincare applications. Group: Clay. Alternative Names: Kaolin, CI 77491, Humus. Potassium Ferricyanide
Potassium Ferricyanide is also known as red prussiate, prussian red or potassium hexacyanoferrate(III). It is a coordination compound that is stable at room temperature and pressure and forms ruby red crystals and powder. It is soluble in water and its solution shows some green-yellow fluorescence. The compound has widespread use in blueprint drawing and in photography. Iron and copper toning involve the use of potassium ferricyanide. Potassium ferricyanide is used as an oxidising agent to remove silver from negatives and positives, a process called dot etching. The compound is also used to temper iron and steel, in electroplating, dyeing wool, as a laboratory reagent, and as a mild oxidising agent in organic chemistry. Grades: Technical. Chemical formula: K3[Fe(CN)6]. Pack Sizes: MOQ is 1 pallet/1mt - We don't supply in a small quantities. Norkem your first link in the chemical chain.
