| Calcium Aluminate Cements (CAC) | Calcium Aluminate Cement (CAC) imparts rapid hardening, high early strength, biogenic corrosion resistance, and refractory properties, whether used independently or as part of binary or ternary systems. With a range of alumina content (40-80% Al2O3), CACs are suitable for various applications including self-levelling compounds, high-strength grouts, ductile iron pipe lining, sewer rehabilitation mortars, and refractory mortars. Bisley offers three grades of CAC: Istra 40, Istra 45, and Istra 50. Manufactured by Calucem under the Istra brand in Croatia, these CACs adhere to European Standard EN196 and are exported globally. Their rapid hardening capabilities and resistance to chemical attack make them versatile for applications in construction chemistry, the pipe and sewer rehabilitation industry, mining, and refractory applications.
