| Antifoam | ANTIFOAM is commercial strength food grade anti foam used for preventive anti foaming and carrying out quick knockdown defoaming in water based and glycol applications. ANTIFOAM is silicone based anti foam emulsion that works extremely well in most aqueous systems. This product may be injected into circuits, added into chemical formulas, sprayed diluted or neat onto surface foam or solutions. Ideal for killing foam in car wash applications or wash bay treatment plants. Use as required and shake well before using. Very small quantities are required for controlling foam. Usages are as low as 1:1000. Tips for Formulating & Preparation of Solutions. ANTIFOAM should generally be added to the liquid mixture before the ingredients or any additional surfactant is added. Agitation is recommended to aid in dispersion of the various components. Add 50 to 100 ml of ANTIFOAM per 100 liters of liquid mixture. For vessels using recirculating equipment add 75 ml per 100 litres of spray mixture. If foam has already occurred add 50-100 ml of ANTIFOAM per 100 litres of spray mixture and apply. | Green French Clay (Bulk) | A conditioning and nourishing clay for all skin types. Green French Clay is especially useful in formulas for sebum control. Great for face and body masks. Green French Clay has a mixed mineral origin: Kaolinite or kaolin clays can be coloured if the surrounding soil is rich in minerals. Some of these minerals have beneficial properties for the skin while others don't so much. All Kaolinites are reasonably good drawing agents as they pull toxins from the skin. Kaolin is often used as a base for clay masks due to it being well tolerated by most people. Illite is a mica type mineral occurring in argillaceous sediments with Illite being a general term for the clay minerals from this type of sediment. Argillaceous minerals appear silver-like due to their fine grain structure and trace metal constituent. Montmorillonite is a very soft phyllosilicate (silicate minerals making up 90% of the crust of the earth based on silicone and oxygen) that forms in microscopic crystals. These clays swell in water and can be used to thicken and stabilise emulsions. This clay will swell a little in water. 100% natural mineral which is allowed to be used in COSMOS formulas. Manufacturing Process: The clay undergoes a mechanical treatment, without any chemical process. It is crushed and dried. Formulation Tips: 5 - 40% in masks. Blends well with other clays.
