| Citric Acid Powder - Food Grade | CITRIC ACID POWDER is a food grade weak organic tribasic acid that resembles coarse white sugar in appearance. Commonly used as a processing aid in the Food Industry or to lower pH industry or as a descaler for heat exchangers and industrial lines. CITRIC ACID POWDER has numerous domestic and janitorial uses which include: Removing stains from stainless steel when used at 1 part to 9 parts water. Descale and disinfects inside of washing machine. In an empty washing machine simply add three tablespoons of citric acid, use hot water, and run on the longest cycle. Descale taps and shower doors, make a solution of one-liter warm water and three tablespoons citric acid. Make sure the acid is dissolved. Spray on let sit for five minutes and wipe clean. Get a sparkling clean toilet, simply take ¾ cup of citric acid and sprinkle into toilet. Leave in overnight. Do not flush. The next morning brush and flush. This unique non-caustic water and orange-oil based formulation is designed to clean, degrease and sanitise processing equipment, floors , walls and ablution areas, ship bilges and bulkheads, trucks, locos and rolling stock, engines, compressors and workshop equipment, mining machinery, etc. CitriSan contains orange oil, water conditioners, surface-active agents, emulsifiers and sanitisers. USE. For general cleaning, CitriSan may be diluted 1:20 to 1:100 in hot or cold water and used through pressure washers, steam cleaners, automatic scrubbers, or applied by mop and bucket, or as a spray and wipe. CitriSan may be used as -supplied for heavy soiling , and should be applied by brush in such instances. Allow to penetrate for 1 minute and hose off with a strong jet of water. For ships bilges, add 1-5 litres CitriSan per 25 litres bilge water, depending on condition. Leave for upto 12 hours, then flush twice. If used in food processing areas, surfaces should be thoroughly rinsed with potable water. SAFETY: Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
