| Rust Rinse - Rust Remover | RUST RINSE is phosphoric acid based product that is specially designed to remove rust stains from paint, fibreglass, metal and most plastics. Also used to passivate ferrous metals prior to painting. Use RUST RINSE neat or diluted with up to 10 parts of water, depending on the severity of the rust stain. Swab the surface with the solution working from the bottom upwards keeping the surface evenly wet. Once acceptably clean, rinse off with water. To convert cleaned surface rust to a paintable surface dilute RUST RINSE with water equally (50:50). Brush on and leave for 5 minutes then rinse off.
