| Electrical Safety Solvent | ELECTRICAL SAFETY SOLVENT is a concentrated solvent cleaner for degreasing electrical equipment, metal parts and pipework. This product is compatible with most plastics and elastomers and is formulated to clean and leave no residue which may cause electrical conductivity. This specialty cleaning product is a NON-CORROSIVE and NON-CONDUCTIVE and does not contain hydrofluorocarbon (HFCs). This product can be used to remove oils, grease, resins, cutting oils, gear oils, vacuum oils, waxes, mineral oils and a variety of other soils from most surfaces. Ideal for precision and specialty cleaning jobs like cleaning high value equipment, electrical components and circuit boards. Use as you would use a solvent cleaner. | Hydrochloric Acid 32% - AC591 | HYDROCHLORIC ACID 32% (HCL) is an industrial strength acid commonly used for the removal of scale, lime, calcium, oxides, efflorescence, bore stains, concrete dust and hard water deposits. NOTE: this is a higher grade hydrochloric acid than the "spent / recovered" type normally found at your local pool shop or hardware store. This product is generally used at concentration from 1:5 to 1:10 parts water depending on application. The product can be used via immersion, swab or recirculation techniques. The time taken to descale most items is approximately 5 to 10 minutes. Such a wide time span is given because results vary depending primarily on scale type and build up, dilution ratio and temperature. Once a surface has been cleaned always flush with copious amounts of water to removal all acid residues. TIPS: Before using the product ensure the surface has been pre-cleaned with appropriate cleaner to remove unwanted oil, grease and film. If the surface is porous (ie bore stain on brick wall) then the surface should be well wetted to avoid acid being wicked into the surface and creating a white haze in the days following, as minerals are leached to the surface. Once a surface has been cleaned the acid should be washed off as soon as possible with copious amounts of water. Repeated acid washing may damage some surfaces. This product may etch, lighten or alter the color of tile, grout, stone and metal surfaces. Allow all new grout, concrete, cement or masonry to cure per manufacturers specification before using. | Alkaline Cleaning Powder | ALKALINE CLEANING POWDER is an off-white powder with a pine odour and is formulated to remove paint, carbon, oils, grease and other obstinate soils from copper and ferrous metal. Use via soak tank method. ALKALINE CLEANING POWDER should be mixed slowly into cold water. Agitate to make sure all product is thoroughly dissolved. The bath should be constructed of mild steel and have a drain at the bottom of the tank to make dislodging and draining easier. Alloys and amphoteric metals cannot be used in this bath as they will react and seriously impair the solution performance. ALKALINE CLEANING POWDER should be used at 100gms per litre of water at 80 °C if possible. Parts should be immersed the solution and agitated if an agitator is fitted to the bath. Parts should be rinsed with water to flush away residual product after removing from the bath. Use 100 to 200gms of the product to a litre of water if a cold and still bath is necessary. | CORROSOAK | Rust and Scale Remover. Description. CorroSoak is designed for the safe removal of rust, scale and tarnish from most metal objects. It has numerous applications in the automotive, marine, construction, mining, and food processing industries, as well as many areas around the home. CorroSoak is biodegradable, water-based and contains no solvents, phosphates, mineral acids or caustic ingredients. Approved by the Dept. of Primary Industry and Energy for use in export registered meat establishments. Use. CorroSoak can be used as a radiator flushing compound to remove rust and scale buildup from the cooling system. Drain old coolant from the cooling system (including heater) and refill with water. Add 500 mls CorroSoak to the radiator and run the engine for 15 to 20 minutes. Drain and thoroughly flush the system with water before filling with coolant such as Cool Max or Cool Plus coolants. To conserve product, any loose rust or scale deposits should first be removed using a wire brush. All traces of oil and grease should be cleaned off with detergent. CorroSoak is simply diluted in hot or cold water at the rate of 1 litre concentrate to 5 litres water, and the metal object immersed for between 3 - 24 hours. Hot water works much more quickly than cold water. The object is then removed, rinsed well and dried. The diluted CorroSoak may be re-used many times. Not suitable for zinc galvanized surfaces. Use with caution on magnesium alloys, or where solder is present. Safety. CorroSoak is not classified as hazardous. Read Material Safety Data Sheet before use.
