| CORROSOAK | Rust and Scale Remover. Description. CorroSoak is designed for the safe removal of rust, scale and tarnish from most metal objects. It has numerous applications in the automotive, marine, construction, mining, and food processing industries, as well as many areas around the home. CorroSoak is biodegradable, water-based and contains no solvents, phosphates, mineral acids or caustic ingredients. Approved by the Dept. of Primary Industry and Energy for use in export registered meat establishments. Use. CorroSoak can be used as a radiator flushing compound to remove rust and scale buildup from the cooling system. Drain old coolant from the cooling system (including heater) and refill with water. Add 500 mls CorroSoak to the radiator and run the engine for 15 to 20 minutes. Drain and thoroughly flush the system with water before filling with coolant such as Cool Max or Cool Plus coolants. To conserve product, any loose rust or scale deposits should first be removed using a wire brush. All traces of oil and grease should be cleaned off with detergent. CorroSoak is simply diluted in hot or cold water at the rate of 1 litre concentrate to 5 litres water, and the metal object immersed for between 3 - 24 hours. | Green French Clay (Bulk) | A conditioning and nourishing clay for all skin types. Green French Clay is especially useful in formulas for sebum control. Great for face and body masks. Green French Clay has a mixed mineral origin: Kaolinite or kaolin clays can be coloured if the surrounding soil is rich in minerals. Some of these minerals have beneficial properties for the skin while others don't so much. All Kaolinites are reasonably good drawing agents as they pull toxins from the skin. Kaolin is often used as a base for clay masks due to it being well tolerated by most people. Illite is a mica type mineral occurring in argillaceous sediments with Illite being a general term for the clay minerals from this type of sediment. Argillaceous minerals appear silver-like due to their fine grain structure and trace metal constituent. Montmorillonite is a very soft phyllosilicate (silicate minerals making up 90% of the crust of the earth based on silicone and oxygen) that forms in microscopic crystals. These clays swell in water and can be used to thicken and stabilise emulsions. This clay will swell a little in water. 100% natural mineral which is allowed to be used in COSMOS formulas. Manufacturing Process: The clay undergoes a mechanical treatment, without any chemical process. It is crushed and dried. Formulation Tips: 5 - 40% in masks. Blends well with other clays. | Hydrochloric Acid 32% - AC591 | HYDROCHLORIC ACID 32% (HCL) is an industrial strength acid commonly used for the removal of scale, lime, calcium, oxides, efflorescence, bore stains, concrete dust and hard water deposits. NOTE: this is a higher grade hydrochloric acid than the "spent / recovered" type normally found at your local pool shop or hardware store. This product is generally used at concentration from 1:5 to 1:10 parts water depending on application. The product can be used via immersion, swab or recirculation techniques. The time taken to descale most items is approximately 5 to 10 minutes. Such a wide time span is given because results vary depending primarily on scale type and build up, dilution ratio and temperature. Once a surface has been cleaned always flush with copious amounts of water to removal all acid residues. TIPS: Before using the product ensure the surface has been pre-cleaned with appropriate cleaner to remove unwanted oil, grease and film. If the surface is porous (ie bore stain on brick wall) then the surface should be well wetted to avoid acid being wicked into the surface and creating a white haze in the days following, as minerals are leached to the surface. Once a surface has been cleaned the acid should be washed off as soon as possible with copious amounts of water. Repeated acid washing may damage some surfaces.
