| Q San - Leave on Sanitiser | Q-SAN - Spray-On-Leave-On Sanitizer Concentrate is formulated for the daily use as an end-of-shift general purpose leave-on-sanitizer for use within all food service industry groups and is also suitable for commercial and domestic use. Q-SANs active ingredient is a quaternary ammonium compound which kills a broad spectrum of germs and bacteria. The product leaves behind an invisible Quat-polymer protective film that helps to keep surfaces germ free for up to 24 hours. FOOD AREA USE. Concentrations are regulated; use Q-SAN at rate of 50 ml per litre (5% v/v) of water via mister or trigger spray. After 5 minutes of contact time between Q-SAN and the surface the surface will then be considered as being sanitised and no further surface preparation is generally required. Hard, non-porous food contact surfaces, such as equipment and utensils, may be used following sanitation without a potable water rinse provided that Q-SAN is used at 5%v/v strictly according to directions, and the surfaces are drained and dry prior to any food contact. When used in FOOD AREAS it is recommended to discard diluted solutions after each day and make fresh solution daily. NON FOOD AREAS such as commercial and domestic use. For a high level of sanitation apply Q-SAN at rate 50 ml per litre (5%v/v) with potable water via trigger spray to a pre-cleaned surface. For low risk areas use as little as 1 part to 200 parts of water for a kill of 99.9% of germs and bugs within 1 minute. Allow the wetted surface to air dry or wipe dry with clean cloth. The surface will be considered sanitised after 1 minute. For domestic & commercial use there is no requirement to discard made-up solutions but we recommend unused solutions be discarded after 3 months when stored as per Section 7 of the SDS. This unique non-caustic water and orange-oil based formulation is designed to clean, degrease and sanitise processing equipment, floors , walls and ablution areas, ship bilges and bulkheads, trucks, locos and rolling stock, engines, compressors and workshop equipment, mining machinery, etc. This Cleaner and Deodoriser contains orange oil, water conditioners, surface-active agents, emulsifiers and sanitisers. USE. For general cleaning, may be diluted 1:20 to 1:100 in hot or cold water and used through pressure washers, steam cleaners, automatic scrubbers, or applied by mop and bucket, or as a spray and wipe. May be used as supplied for heavy soiling , and should be applied by brush in such instances. Allow to penetrate for 1 minute and hose off with a strong jet of water. For ships bilges, add 1-5 litres per 25 litres bilge water, depending on condition. Leave for up to 12 hours, then flush twice. | Peroxy Acetic Acid - Proxitane | PEROXY ACETIC ACID (Peracetic acid (C2H4O3)) is a mixture of acetic acid (CH3COOH) and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in solution which finds widespread use a cost effective NO RINSE sanitising solution in breweries, dairy farms, food processing & commercial laundries. PEROXY ACETIC ACID is formulated to be used on pre-cleaned surfaces that contain no detergents or surfactants. The products performance will be dramatically reduced if soils are present on the surface such as fats, oil, starches or vegetable matter. Peroxyacetic acid sanitation is most efficient at pH's below 7. The pH of a 1: 100 dilution of this product is about 3.0 and a 1: 500 dilution about ph 4.0. Temperature plays a factor in effectiveness of this product, for example at a temperature of 15°C and a pH value of 7, five times more peractetic acid is required to effectively deactivate pathogens than at a pH value of 7 and a temperature of 35°C. Therefore working solutions should be ambient to warm (25 to 40°C). Exact dilution rates are determined on a case by case basis and Able Westchem does not normally determine what rate suits its customers requirements.
